Help us to build Sound Roots Connect

You might remember a few years ago, we developed a free platform called Folk Talk Academy - it was basically a massive load of information to help people to build music careers of any sort.

This platform proved pretty useful to many people, and so we’re planning to launch an updated, revamped and new platform in early 2024 and we need your help!

Sound Roots Connect will have two primary functions:

Firstly, it will provide learning resources for those building their music industry businesses. Whether you’re finding your feet as an artist, booking agent, label, publisher, promoter or any other part of the independent industry, we hope Sound Roots Connect will offer you some helpful insight.

Secondly, we’re planning on launching a community subscription area which will give members a place to network, reach out to new people, keep up to date with the latest resources and opportunities, and even have a sharing area where members can offer skills and expertise in return for mutual support. A kind of co-operation hub for the independent music industry.

But we can’t do this alone - we need your help!
